2009 Highlander

Do you like this story?

toyota_highlander_2008Toyota has made big statements with its hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs). Of, course, other manufacturers make hybrids, but no other brand is more associated with HEVs as Toyota, thanks to the Prius. But for some, the Prius isn’t the right choice. That’s why Toyota is expanding its hybrid line to include their other popular vehicles while still using it’s world renowned Toyota Parts.

The largest, and newest, Toyota hybrid is the Highlander hybrid. The 2009 model continues to be a captivating ride as new updates and features are reinforced.  This seven-occupant SUV crossover has 20/27 mpg. It is rated as an ultra low emission vehicle, so it doesn’t let off as many harmful gasses as would non-hybrid cars. The Highlander has a six speed electronically controlled automatic transmission.

Where else are you going to get a seven-occupant hybrid with long lasting Toyota Parts? GM, Chevy, and Cadillac all have hybrids like the Highlander, but they are much more expensive. So, if you are looking for a way to go green, save money, and be able to carpool with all the kids from soccer, this hybrid is for you.
