The number of U.S. brands has dropped from eight to four. The remaining brands include Buick, Cadillac, Chevy, and GMC. The number of employees has dropped considerably. Of the 81,000 employees in 2008, only 63,500 are left. More money is now being spent on future products and technology. The consolidated debt has dropped considerably since last year.
